Live It, Learn It! Lieder Workshop 

UWA Music and Penrhos College invite students and teachers to a workshop on Lieder set works from the Year 11 & 12 ATAR list. 

  • Schubert’s Erlkönig and Die Forelle 
  • Schumann’s Dichterliebe (set work pieces)

We'll discuss the bigger picture of lieder and song cycles, the importance of these to the entire development of works for solo voice and piano, and talk through the inner journey within each of these works: 

  • Saturday 23 June (2-4pm)
  • Just $5 (free for teachers and accompanying parents)!

Auditions for 2019 Entry to UWA Music

Thinking of studying music at University? Come and audition to find out all the music options available to you at UWA. 

Auditions for 2019 entry will be held on Sunday 23 September 2018 at the Conservatorium of Music. For students who prefer a later audition, an additional audition day will be held on Monday 26 November 2018.

In addition to undertaking your audition, you will be able to check out our facilities, chat to our friendly staff about course options, meet current students and find out what it's really like to study at UWA, we'll even have the BBQ sizzling!  

Ad-hoc auditions can be held outside of these dates but will be subject to an additional $15 fee.
