Ace Your WACE Performance Workshops

Students undertaking their WACE exams are invited to come along and perform in front of an expert panel, receiving individual feedback, plus helpful tips on performance etiquette and managing stress.

Auditions for 2018 Entry to UWA Music

Thinking of studying music at University? Come and audition to find out all the music options available to you at UWA. 

Auditions for 2017 entry will be held on Sunday 17 September 2017 at the Conservatorium of Music. For students who prefer a later audition, an additional audition day will be held on Monday 27 November 2017.

In addition to undertaking your audition, you will be able to check out our facilities, chat to our friendly staff about course options, meet current students and find out what it's really like to study at UWA, we'll even have the BBQ sizzling!  

Ad-hoc auditions can be held outside of these dates but will be subject to an additional $15 fee.

UWA Young Composers Project 

Are you interested in composition? Want to develop your ideas with some expert help and take your compositions to the next level? 
Award winning composer James Ledger will mentor aspiring young composers to create a new work!

The program will start with a 2 hour group workshop in July, followed by 1-1 sessions with James over the following weeks.

In the final week, musicians from the Conservatorium of Music will work directly with participants to perform their final piece and a recording will be made for participants to keep. 

Participants will also be invited to attend the Creation concert as guests of the Conservatorium of Music, to see the finals of the coveted Ransom Prize in Music Composition.
