The UWA School of Music is a vibrant centre of music education and research, and has strong ties to the community through programs such as: The School of Music is in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia, located in Perth. Staff are actively involved in both teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research. The School has approximately 200 students and 15 academic staff specialising in the areas of performance, composition, music education and musicology.
