Welcome to the School of Music

The UWA School of Music is a vibrant centre of music education and research, and has strong ties to the community through programs such as:

• Discover Music Outreach Programme (including the Junior Music School)
• Concert series with over 100 public performances a year
• Friends of Music
• Callaway Foundation

The School of Music is in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Western Australia, located in Perth. Staff are actively involved in both teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research.

The School has approximately 200 students and 15 academic staff specialising in the areas of performance, composition, music education and musicology.

Please contact the Music office for all general enquiries. The office is open Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 3:00pm. It is located on the first floor of the Music Building.
