The Application Process (Local Students)

Step One: Apply through TISC

All Australian students must put in a TISC application form in order to apply for a University course. Further information can be obtained from the TISC website, or by contacting them on + 61 (0) 8 9318 8000 or info@tisc.edu.au.

Step Two: Audition

Auditions for 2010 entry will occur between Monday 19 October and Sunday 1 November, 2009 at the School of Music. Please refer to the second page of the Audition Form for a checklist of what you need to prepare and provide for the audition.

The audition is followed by a short interview in which prospective students can discuss their plans for future music study. Please note that late auditions can be arranged if necessary. Should you live outside of Western Australia it is possible to submit a DVD of your performance in lieu of a live audition; however this must be accompanied by a certified letter that states the authenticity of the recording along with copies of other documentation as required. In all cases however an in situ audition is highly recommended.

To apply, please download the audition form. Please complete and return, with the administration fee, to the School of Music office by Friday 25 September. You will be advised of an audition date and time by Monday 12 October.
