Operating as part of UWA's Discover Music program, three strands of music making - Keyed Up! Highly Strung! Composing Yourself! - are now available within our expanded Summer School program to any secondary-aged music student wishing to engage in new and exciting musical experiences under the expert guidance of University staff.
Along with traditional tuition, students will have the opportunity to enjoy ensemble music making; improvisation and composition sessions; choral and aural workshops and guided performance opportunities during the four days of the school.
The UWA School of Music Summer School teaching staff include members of UWA's performance and academic staff and colleagues. Mr Graeme Gilling, UWA School of Music Head of Performance heads up a team of highly regarded practitioners including Mr Paul Wright, Ms Tatiana Kobets, Dr Nicholas Bannan and Ms Carole Macintyre.
