The UWA Conservatorium of Music and St George's College 4th annual Summer Music Academy, offers talented young musicians from across Australia and Asia the opportunity to immerse themselves in a week of practical music making and fun.

With orchestral, band, keyboard and percussion streams, and supported by outstanding nationally and internationally recognised conductors and tutors, the Academy aims to nurture the musicianship and ensemble skills of high school and tertiary students through large and small ensemble rehearsal and performance.

The Academy has both residential and non-residential streams, with residential students enjoying the unique experience of college life at St George's College.

Located next to the Swan River, the picturesque grounds of both facilities provide the ideal place for students to interact, rehearse and play music. The College provides high standard accommodation and is well resourced for overseeing social activities. Appropriately qualified mentors supervise students, housing males and females in separate areas.

The intensive tuition of the Academy culminates in a concert on the final day (December 10). Family, friends and the general public are invited to attend and audio and visual recordings of the concert will be available for purchase for those who want to capture their memories!

If you are a young musician with a passion for making music and refining your craft, this camp is for you. Don't miss this unique opportunity to receive world-class instruction at a world top 100 University!
