Current and past projects of significance have included:

well-being of older people with mental and physical illnesses
through the core activity of singing in groups

A cross-cultural comparative study of dance, singing and
musical instrument skills in 12-15 year olds

A study of factors leading to success and ongoing participation

Heritage (2004-2007)
A web-based research infrastructure in support of two major
music archival collections: The Handa Collection (The
University of Western Australia) and The Australian Archive of
Jewish Music (Monash University)
- Sound Footings (2006-2007)
A web-based research infrastructure in support of two major
music archives: The Eileen Joyce Collection (The University of
Western Australia) and The Asian-Australian Music Collection
(Monash University)
