On behalf of the University of Western Australia, we welcome you to the Junior Music School community. We believe all children are musical. The extent to which musical ability develops, however, depends greatly on the input children receive in very early childhood. Our JMS programme, designed for children aged 18 months to 12 years, nurtures your child's musical potential in a stimulating and rich musical environment, thereby supporting you and your family in developing and maintaining a lifelong love of music.

Here at JMS, we offer the finest teachers, a challenging and exciting music programme based on the best and most recent research, and a supportive and lively university music community. Welcome to the JMS community!

The Junior Music School programme offers a range of exciting and challenging classes for children from 18 months to 12 years, and is structured in the following way:

• Music Playground (18 months to 5 years)
• Soundscapes (plus optional classes: 5 to 7 years)
• Firebird (plus optional classes: 7 to 12 years)
